Pupdate: It’s official, Vader is staying with our pack. We love and adore him, we have much work to do, but he’s worth it.

Little Heart K9’s pack, the fab 5: Liam, Phinn, Kei, Wonton, Vader
Update: Vader is neutered, vaccinated, worming is in process, and he’s good to go when we meet the right adopter committed to the right lifestyle for Vader. We’ve met some potential adopters, and are in communication with some others, no decisions have been made yet. At 5 months, Vader weighed 51 pounds. Within our pack, Vader is a very good boy, he’s happy to play, prefers to carry something in his mouth, he’s still teething. Vader is housebroken, kennel trained, he loves to ride in the car. He’s vocal. He’s bitey in a playful give-me-some-direction-teach-me-something kind of way, he is not overly mouthy. He has a great nose. He’s confident. He will thrive under the direction of someone who can teach him, be consistent with him, and keep him busy. He has a good balance of “off” and “on”. He will be very happy to learn, to be active, to have a well balanced lifestyle. Vader needs to learn basic obedience, receive more real world exposure, and will thrive with someone committed to schutzhund (tracking, obedience, protection), or any variety of dog sports, there are many options for a dedicated dog handler.
Welcome, Vader. Vader is a young Belgian Malinois puppy, DOB: 23 Aug 2019. Vader will be made adoptable after he visits our vet, is neutered, wormed, and has received all of his puppy vaccinations. Early impressions about Vader: he’s smart, attentive, willing and eager to learn; he has a good nose; is not housebroken, yet (he lived outside at his previous home); confident; loyal; playful; loving. Vader will need an experienced handler, a lifetime of training and practice, a job, an adventurous life — the bar will be set high for Vader.

Thank you, from Vader, Laura, and the pack at Little Heart K9.
