Rescued December 24, 2016 from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, East, A3865084.

About 25 people stood in line to adopt two puppies, a male and a female. County used a lottery system to draw two winners. They were listed as German Shepherd dogs, however, these are clearly Belgian Malinois puppies. LHK9 is thrilled to have the opportunity to foster the male and we wish luck and love to the family that adopted the female puppy.

Aunty Julie has kept an eye on these two puppies since they arrived. She finally got to hug them.

Surrendered as a stray, his estimated date of birth is October 20, 2016, making him about 8 weeks old. His name is “Liam”.

Neutered this morning, Liam is a little groggy.

Sunshine and a puppy, what more could a girl ask for?!

Liam is accidentally pretty in pink. The purple collar is the only small collar I had on hand. The pink Cuz ball is Boca’s favorite ball, Liam is strong enough (or determined enough) to carry it around.

Update: Liam became what’s known as a foster failure, and stayed with Little Heart K9. As of April 2017, Liam is six months old and has completed his AKC CGC course. Liam is a good dog, has a great life and my heart is full.
