Rescued October 16, 2016 from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control, East, A3839416.

This handsome boy was listed as a stray. His real name and birthdate are unknown. “Travis” is approximately two years old. He is in need of some TLC and will then be available for adoption. Travis is very friendly, someone is going to be lucky to add this handsome boy to their family.

Travis with Aunty Julie. My rescue tribe is amazing.

Settling in at home. Travis will visit my vet asap, he tested positive for tick fever and will be on antibiotics. Travis is thin, has very dry skin and dry fur and may have some skin issues. After he heals from being neutered, this handsome boy will get a much needed bath. Stay posted for updates!

It’s too soon for a bath (neuter), however, he loves to be gently brushed.

First full day, Travis is out enjoying the morning sun.

Decompressing: Travis’ second day. He is just laying here, eyes open, resting.

Travis spends most of his time resting quietly, however Travis loves my pack of four unique dogs. He’s going to be a good pack addition when he’s adopted. He would also do well in a single dog home, he’ll thrive with a lot of social time. He still needs some training, what a great bonding opportunity for his future adopter.

Travis, lookin’ good. (Neuter is still healing).

Early morning social time. He still spends most of his time relaxing quietly. The doggie mind and soul in this fluffy body are still healing.

Feeling so much better.

First bath.

Love from Phinn.

A follow up veterinary appointment says he’s in good health and ready to be adopted. Yay, Travis! Travis is an exuberant boy and will need a very active home and to meet with a trainer for some basic obedience work. He wants to do the right thing, he needs to be taught how. He’s a fun and funny boy with a lot of energy.

On our way to meet his third potential adopter, paws crossed.

Travis’ new girl, Delta.

Beautiful Delta, please show Travis the way. Travis will live with horses, cattle, and travel to South Dakota in the summer!

Adopted! I will miss you, my exuberant boy.

We love pictures from adopters. Travis is so fortunate to have a wonderful home. He is stunning with his full, healthy coat. He looks amazing.
